Overview
Senpai Hearth is designed to collect as little personal information as practical. This policy explains what we process when you browse the website or contact our editorial team, why we process it, and the choices available to you.
Information you provide
When you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, subject, and message. We use this information to review and answer your request, maintain a record of editorial correspondence, prevent abuse, and resolve disputes. Please do not submit sensitive personal, financial, medical, or identification information through the form.
Newsletter subscriptions
When you request the newsletter, we store the normalized email address, consent time, confirmation status, signup source, and security tokens needed to confirm or end the subscription. An address becomes active only after its confirmation link is used. Confirmation and unsubscribe tokens are stored as one-way hashes. Resend processes delivery information on our behalf. Every newsletter message will provide an unsubscribe method.
Technical information
Our hosting provider may process standard request information such as IP address, browser type, requested page, device information, and timestamps to deliver the site, diagnose errors, maintain security, and prevent abuse. For contact and newsletter signup rate limiting, the application stores a one-way hash derived from the submitting IP address rather than the raw address. Newsletter rate-limit records expire after seven days. Security and application logs may still be retained by our infrastructure provider under its own terms.
Cookies and local storage
Essential infrastructure storage may be used for security, traffic management, and signed-in administration. If advertising is enabled, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers for ad delivery, measurement, frequency control, fraud prevention, and personalization where permitted. Visitors covered by consent requirements are shown appropriate controls before consent-dependent processing.
Advertising
We may use Google AdSense to support the publication. Advertising is kept separate from navigation and editorial recommendations. Google explains how it uses information from sites that use its services in its partner-sites notice. Availability and personalization of ads depend on location, consent choices, and Google's policies.
How information is shared
We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by service providers that host the site, store the database, deliver email, or protect the service. These providers receive only the access needed to perform their role. We may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of visitors, the publication, or others.
Retention and security
Contact messages are retained only as long as reasonably needed to answer the request, maintain editorial records, meet legal obligations, or prevent repeated abuse. We use encrypted transport, input validation, access controls, security headers, and rate limiting. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so avoid sending confidential material.
Your privacy choices
Where a consent message is available, use the “Privacy choices” control in the footer to review or change advertising choices. Browser settings can also control cookies and similar storage. Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of personal information, or to object to certain processing. We may need to verify the request and may retain limited information where legally required.
Children
This publication is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted information should contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
Changes and contact
